Matt grew up outside of Birmingham. Prior to joining the family business in December 2016 he earned a degree apprenticeship in business management and spent four years working in service delivery management with technology and consultancy giant Capgemini.

Matt has worked on a variety of projects, ranging from office buildings, data centres, shopping centres, transport hubs and sports venues and shares one of his favorite projects has been working with contractor Mace at Panorama St. Pauls – “When you work on projects as prestigious as Panorama St Paul’s, I think that’s where we really come into our own with our aesthetic and finish and it’s crucial to make sure our weathering blends in and doesn’t distract from any finishes to the building.”

As Commercial Director for Jones Weatherproofing he is passionate about the family business and has the knowledge and skills to expand and improve operations – especially in terms of modernisation and efficiency. Matt says “My two main goals for the business are to help grow the company and ensure a high level of service and quality for clients”.

In his free time, Matt enjoys a round of golf and spending time outdoors with his partner Lucy and Irish water spaniel Otto.
