Derek grew up in Birmingham and has been Technical Liaison at Jones Weatherproofing for more than 35 years now, providing technical support to maintain the successful flow of a project.

He says “My day to day role involves pre-checking material lists ready for despatch, hiring and making sure equipment for site is delivered for project start dates, liaising with the site team leaders to give instructions and continuously researching new and better products”.

Derek is a proud Birmingham City FC supporter. He notes – “I’ve been following the ‘Blues’ for as long as I can remember!, I love going along to the matches with my son, who I hold a season ticket with”.
